The Senior/Junior Schools of Nosakhare Model Education Centre, participated in the Nigeria Mathematics and Science OLYMPIADS which took place in October 2018/January 2019 organized by National Mathematical Centre, Abuja. They came in flying colors.

Aideyan Freda in Senior Secondary School came 2nd in Physics in Edo State with well over a thousand who wrote the exams. In addition, she was decorated with a silver bronze medal by representatives from Ministry of Education, Edo State and the Co-ordinator of Mathematical Centre, Edo State. Azugo Victoria, Obanisagbon Beverlyn in our Secondary School Section, qualified at state levels and duly certified for Maths. Also for the Maths Competition, Edomwonyi Ijesuorode Winifred of our Junior Secondary Section, qualified and duly certified.

NOMEC presently has been named an Exam Centre for the Nigeria Mathematics and Sciences Olympiads Competition.
