THE NIGERIAN RED CROSS SOCIETY
The Nigerian Red Cross Society (NRCS), is a para-military and para-medical organization. It was established in Nosakhare Model Educational Centre in 2004. Membership includes both staff and pupils/students under the leadership of Mrs. E.N. Ikebeotu as the unit’s co-ordinator ably assisted by Mrs. V. Okungbowa who organizes series of training for members on First Aid and Safety Measures during Emergencies.
NOMEC school unit was inaugurated on the 16th of July, 2009 when Elder Deacon (Amb) Dr. D.N. Eghobamien was decorated as the Patron and other eminent personalities as co-patrons.
Our pupils and students are disciplined socially and morally groomed in the course of their training and as such they become useful to themselves and the society.

THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (NOMEC CHAPTER)
The scout association of Nigeria, Nosakhare Chapter, is headed by Mrs. E. Osifo as the scout Matron and Mr. Ogru Igho as the scout Master. The Mission of scouting here in NOMEC is to contribute to the education of our pupils through a valued system based on the scout promise and law and to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in the family, community, state, country and he world at large
